to my belief it is impossible to believe that other lifeforms don't exist. just
think about it, the universe is infinite and if we exist of course there are others in the universe. and to answer the govt. question, we have probably already have made contact with extraterrestrial life its just if it got out to the public, it would cause religious chaos, and instability among the world. It is very wise to keep the knowledge away from the public until they are ready, which may be a very long time. due to the fact we are still very primitive.

There almost has to be aliens somewhere due to the size of our universe. We cannot possibly be the only life out there. But I also think something the magnitude of real aliens landing here would be to big for even our government to cover up. They don't really have anything to gain from covering it up anyway, think of the merchandise! If all of those who came out claiming to see them weren't such whack jobs it could be more believable. At some point "they" will come and we will all know about it

Most solutions to the Drake Equation say that it's likely that there must be some number of alien civilizations in the galaxy. Are the visiting us? No. Is the government covering it up? No. Are you kidding me . . . NASA perpetually struggles for funding. It gets a tiny, insignificant fraction of the government budget when compared to . . . say, the military. (The money that will be spent on the Iraq war by the end of this fiscal year could fund NASA at present funding levels for over a quarter-century.) If there was irrefutable proof of alien life somewhere, they'd be trotting it out so often at Congressional budget hearings, we'd all be sick of listening to it.

well if aliens do exist, there is no reason to cover it up. Unless the government thinks they can benefit from alien technology, other than that the government should be happy to explain the ET is out there. I personally think that the government does not know of any ET.

While scientists think it likely that there is life off the earth, there is to date NO reliable evidence that life exists, much less intelligent aliens who have visited us.
By the way, governments aren't very good at covering up anything. Any scientist who first discovers solid evidence of life of the earth would have his or her name in the history books. There is no way that life ouf the earth has been found and, for some dumb reason, being covered up.

I believe there are aliens. There are many things out there to prove it. I think the government is covering it up for many reasons...one of them being that they can use it against people to scare them into doing things that the government wants them to do!

i think that universe, being so big, would have to have other lifeforms in it. it would be a big waste of space if we were the only ones here to enjoy it. i highly doubt that the government has knowledge of extraterrestrials but you never know!!!
