Mr Bush had and still has,of course great power and was/it abusing it for family interests(gulf war/petrol etc.).America wake up,pls! Only hope that Hillary will become the first, female President of the US!

Yes the powers of the President are limited. To hear many in here talk I am of the opinion they think all the President has to do if blink like Jeannie or twitch his nose like Samantha and things happen. I really have no idea why they think that. Bill Clinton was much more popular with them and he couldn't do it. Why do they expect Bush to be capable of dong more.
Bush does not control the price of oil, the severity of the weather, or even the amount of the deficit. OPEC controls the oil, God controls the weather, and Congress is supposed to run the budget.

You cannot limit the President's powers, every President
needs the leeway given to him by having all the power.......

Yes....they are limited.....
UNLESS.....you can whip up the citizenry into enough of a fearful frenzy that they will let you take all of the powers that you want......
Afterall, you have convinced them that they will die unless the President can see what books you check out from the library......
