1) yes i believe u can use either memory stick for your PSP; i've got a cousin who uses a 2GB memory stick

2) i think it depends on what version your PSP is. for example, if PSP is like v1.5 and is downloadable, u can download games ... if it's v3.1, u can play pretty much any games, bought or downloaded ... check with your vendor ... what i'm telling you is what my vendor told me ...

2) If your PSP is not homebrew enabled, you can only play game demos. To enable homebrew on your PSP, your PSP has to be in version 1.50 or using custom firmware (3.03 OE-c). But in either case, you need to downgrade your PSP to version 1.50 first.
