This is not normal, so you will need to see your doctor to determine what exactly is occurring. Stress can cause abnormal periods, but there are many other reasons including weight gain/loss, thyroid, hormonal imbalance, infection, illness, medications, polyp, cyst, amongst other reasons. Please see your doctor for an exam and testing, so the exact cause can be determined.

That is totally not normal. I would go to the doctor and figure out what is happening to your uterus. I think it is to do with stress. Get immediate medical attention as soon as possible. They might need to take some tests for the problem. Anyway good luck on figuring out what the problem is.

If your bleeding alternates between a heavy period and a substantially lighter one, the lighter one if probably just mid-cycle bleeding. It is fairly common and nothing to worry about. It would occur around the time you are ovulating. If both are equally heavy it could be something more serious.

call your doctor and get it checked out. it could be a very simple thing like a hormonal imbalance that can be corrected with medication (that's what happened with me - i was having them every other week and it turned out i had a little polyp that they're controlling with yaz pill) but don't be afraid to just call your doctor and get it looked at. it's scary, but they're there to help you. there are a lot of simple little things it could be.
