I agree with 8. Its nice, but no where near what an Mbuna habitat is like. Rocks, rocks and more rocks are what they come from. The plants WILL become a casualty in time. You can do some Mbuna in a 40, but not Auratus. The 1 is definatly male(I see you did your research), and he will "eventually" corner or kill EVERY other fish in that tank. It seems like you have a good head on your shoulders(research), but this tank will not work in the long run(I give you 6 months top from shot sizes). But you ask, we answer.

That is a very nice looking tank. I don't expect to get the 10 points because I am going to tell you what problems you will have with it. The large pleco and the cichlids will tear up that beautiful Amazon Sword plant. Cichlids are known for ripping plants to shreds. The large pleco will eat holes in the leaves in short order (I learned this the hard way).
The auratus, if they are a pair and spawn, will terrorize the mbuna. Auratus are one of the meaner cichlids for their size and when they spawn....look out! Your zebras and electric yellows are only semi-aggressive and will suffer greatly. Even when they are not spawning, they are a mean fish.
The log looks very nice, but will actually lower the pH over time as the tannins leach into the water. African cichlids come from clear, high pH water. The pleco will love it, many pleco species, including the common (which it looks like you have), actually eat wood and driftwood is recommended for them to graze on.
Good luck with your tank, hope you save the plants. The other plant under the beer glass looks like a cryptocoryne of some kind. If so, it is a very touchy plant and will go into what is called a "crypt meltdown" as soon as the fish start moving it around and biting at it. The leaves will turn to mush and all that will be left is the tuber. It is not dead at this point, it will regrow if you place it in a calm stable tank with aged water.

not one of the fish you stated are sturdy for a 10 gallon tank. lots of them, like the clown loaches and flowerhorn, can develop into greater than the tank is great. There are some somewhat cool cichlids which could slot in a 10 gallon tank although - in case you have get admission to to them on your city. they're primary as 'shell dwellers' and that they are small, yet spunky cichlids. My famous shell dweller cichlid to maintain in a 10 gallon is a harem (frequently a million male and 2-3 women) of occellatus gold. they're additionally primary as "occies". those adult adult males are small, yet they continuously dig and combat and breed. you mustn't save the rest with them, yet they are going to be between the main lively/impressive fish tanks you have ever seen!

Your tank looks great. I have never had cichlids, I have about 50 fish in my tank but all danios and neons and glofish and angels, but your tank looks awesome, and I'd say you did a wonderful job, as a person who has been a fish enthusiast for 8 years, I love the set up. It is great, and the fish seem to like it as well.

your tank looks great. i used to have only 2 cichlid in my tank and the only thing i had in it was a cork wood log which they lived in. to my surprise, they started having babies.

It looks really great but as 8 points out could have some problems. IMO he gets the 10 points for being through and honest.

Your tank looks really wonderful... i feel envy and wish that i can do the same... but i can only make my tank simple because i don't have much time to clean and set up. anyway, is the log not going to make your water dark? and will it not get molds? nevertheless, it's really lovely!!!
