Instant tan for prom??

Question

Hey guys!

I was just wondering if any of you have gotten an instant tan at Hollywood tans. Is it a spray on tan? I want to look nice for prom...NOT fake...and I don't really want to damage my skin doing normal tanning. Is instant tanning any better? Does it make you orange or does it look nice?

I just go tanning in a booth or bed, but i would suggest to go like a month ahead of prom or even earlier so you can see how you like it. you wouldnt want to mess it up, or have it look bad two days before [:

I use Salon Bronze at home instant tan and love it, I have been using it for 2 summers now. It gives an instant glow and color and then it also has a self tanner that darkens with time. I purchased mine at the beauty supply store for $20, I hear that the salons do a really good spray on tan, I am just too cheap to go to a salon...have fun at prom

I have never had an instant tan, but i would suggest going once befor prom so you will see the results befor you slip into your prom dress and realise it's not like what you originally wanted. so test it out once and see if it's worth it for prom! gool luck! and have a good prom!

If you are young enough to be going to your prom you should go with a sray on tan. At your age you should not be damaging your young skin. Keep your skin protected so you may have beautiful skin 25 years from now.

Try Bain de Soleil self tanning spray. It's a little bit more then your average sunless tan spray, but it lasts longer, looks natural (not orangey) and you will look sexy

Wal-Mart carries a product called Jergens Natural Glow. It is a moisturizer with a hint of bronzer. You do have to rub it in evenly but after a few days it gives a really natural glow !!
