Ah, yes, apparently you are one of those people who seem to think that, since "only" 3200 Americans have died in Iraq while 68,000 have died in the US due to alcohol, or whatever other statistic you want to use, that the Iraq deaths shouldn't be making the news. There are a number of potential answers to your meaningless comparison, but if we're going to bandy numbers about, let's make sure we know the whole story.
According to your statistics, 68,000 Americans have died over the past four years due to "alcohol-related" causes. Let's see now . . . there are 300 million people in the US, so 68,000 represents 0.02% of the population.
By contrast, there have been an average of, say, 150,000 troops in Iraq at any given time over the last four years. 3200 divided by 150,000 equals 2.13% of the population of Americans in Iraq. That's 100 times the death rate compared with alcohol-related fatalties in this country. I think that alone would rate frequent mention in the press, to say nothing of the fact that the 3200 who died in Iraq did so fighting an illegal war that their government sent them into based on exaggerations, misrepresentations, and outright lies. Further, that government sent them into harm's way often without adequate protection for themselves or their vehicles. Finally, if they are wounded and manage to survive they are, as we have recently learned, warehoused in vermin-infested dumps.
It doesn't do any good to compare numbers unless you understand what the numbers really mean.

HR 3200 continues to be the only bill that's made it out of a committee and continues to be the only bill being pressed with the help of Democrats for passage ASAP. Obama is making countless those supplies which at the instant are not modern in ANY bill that any one's has ever claimed they observed, which comprise Obama. "there is no bill" is a technically suitable play with the language. that's been surpassed out of committee yet isn't yet on the legislative calendar provided that Congress isn't NOW in consultation. As a remember of the regulations, that's "no longer a bill" until that happens. HR 3200 is in the different experience an entire bill. It HAS cleared committee and ONE small formal step - Congress ending holiday - will make it formally a bill. provided that Obama is advertising THIS determination utilising his own 2008 marketing campaign emblem, and replaced into stressful Congress bypass it until now the recess, that's completely fantastic to call HR 3200 "Obamacare."

I don't see any connection. The soldiers killed in Iraq are dying in combat so that muslims can't kill all the Christians in the U.S. alcohol related fatalities are due to people who won't take responsibility for thier disease and seek treatment for alcoholism.

Well the "Moral" of the story certainly is NOT that we should prefer going to War than Drinking!
I never drink and drive at the same time because driving only interferes with my drinking!
