Everything is finite and with that, so are protons. When protons go through their lifespan, they will turn into photons. This is part of the heat death theroy of the end of the Universe. You have to wonder how protons which have a physical meaning, a mass, value and volume can turn into something that doesn't have volume, mass, or a physical meaning. I don't think that is something that can happen. The only thing in my mind that is infinite is mass and volume. They can't just disappear. Due to todays knowledge and laws of physics, that would be impossible. Therefore, they have to have a physical meaning to some limit.

im having a hard time understanding your question but im going to try and answer it anyway. YES...matter and energy are two different forms of the same thing...you can convert one into the other. energy being light. think about it like this as well, light can be bent by gravity such as the imense gravity of a blackhole, and all gravity is is the measure of the warpage of space and time in the presence of matter. matter is physical and it affects light..light is physical too!!!!!

It may not have mass, but it will continue to move eternally unless something comes between it.
