Yeah, all the time people say, "Where's so-and-so?" and all this, but it's not like I'm their keeper or their secretary... Gosh!

No but I do get mistaken for a worker in ANY store I go into....

I am not sure if I should take it as; I look like I know what I am doing while shopping or else I look like a walmart associate that actually cares. No clue why this happens but I get it everywhere, even while traveling.

I've always been mistaken for a coworker's secretary. But that's because she intentionally gives out an incorrect extension, which always leads the caller to me. And no matter how many times I correct the caller, it does no good.

I work at a horse farm and I have to answer the phone. A person called, and I said my usual, "Hello, My name is Annie, how may I help you?" and the guy thought that I was the owner of the farm, who is a 45 year old man!

I did at one time...my ex was a local chairman for Conrail....you are right...as his wife I never knew when he was coming back so as his secretary I knew even less.
