This isn't retribution or injustice. Instead it's playing fair. The Dixie Chicks should never have been nominated for Grammy's in the first place - the music doesn't warrant it. Had those awards not been tainted, the CMA aspect wouldn't even be in question. I'm glad to see the CMA are not brainwashed like their Grammy cousins are. I don't even like country music, but I can respect their objectivity.

I just think this Is very sad. The CMA awards should be about music and not politics. People should be alowed to say what the feel I always thought(freedom of speech). Even at the Grammy's It was touch and go, but they won 5 times anyway. So the grammy organisation In my book did the right thing by not letting some comment they made a few years ago get In the way. I always thought highly about the CMA awards, but now I don't know anymore...They sure lost a few points In my book...

If the dixie chicks had stated what they stated approximately George Bush 6 months in the past, i in my view do not think of they might have caught as lots flack over it. i'm chuffed for them and desire they're back for sturdy.

Funny how the press never said that they got all those grammy's because of what they said, but now they are saying that they got snubbed from these ones because of what they said.

Serves em right. It's really bad for anyones career to knock someone big like the president or TK. If your going to make sure your a huge star not just a big one you may get away with it better.
