It's all about money! The USA will only feel like the rest of the world, the day another country conquer them. It's sad but true...
Today's USA is the Roman of the past. History just keep repeating it self.
Money make the world spin around. The question is who is going to be the Roman of tomorrow? China, Germany, Japan, Italy?

The U.S. is not as you suggest trying to take there land. According to a agreement that the U.S. ratified (I do not remember which) we said that we would not fight for territory or any land. I used to live in a Muslim controlled country and if you think they were free before keep reading. The typical punishment for any thief that is caught the first time there right hand is cut off. For any person that is caught in the act of adultery they are stoned to death. Those are just some of the laws.
For those of you that are interested in the country it was Sudan. That is the country directly below Egypt.

Iraq War - 30,000
Iraq internal Violance during saddam's regime - 130,000
I guess you are right.. the people that dies before the war are indeed free. Free of Life!

Technically there was a civil war before we put Hussein in power. We put him in power because the US thought he would stabilize the region.
I'm definitely not for the war, but it didn't cause the latest problems.
The region is in the middle of a civil war because three different religions are banging heads. Sunni's, Kurds, and Shiites.

I guess we took away the freedom to be one of the average of 20,000 a year killed by Saddam. Or the freedom from have 30% of the population oppress 70% or the freedom of being a Marsh Arab and being starved by your government.
But that doesn't matter does it.....
