We have no problem with felons leaving the country. Other countries may not want to allow you in though.

Yes, although the country that want to visit may not let you in. But yes you can get a US passport.

ya but it may be a waste of money cause that country may not let you in then you pretty much wasted money on a passport - plane ticket sooo the choice is your buddy
