Due to extremely high number of Eastern European cheap unqualified, uninsured and in some cases illegal migrant workers. I want to emphasise in my Advertisements that I am British and all work will be carried out by qualified British tradesman. Could this be construed as being rascist?

You're saying what you are, since when could announcing that you're British in Britain be flippin' racist?

Legally, I see no problem. Though is it going to exclude you business from non born British residents of the UK? If you're concerned leave out the British and just have "Qualified Tradesman" I don't care what nationality comes round, providing you're qualified and know what you're doing, play on.

How about getting around the 'RACIST' subject ....and add this to the advert.

' ....all work carried out by a FED UP TAX PAYING, LAW ABIDING tradesman'

(no mentioning of 'race')

all the best mate!

Be a little more diplomatic with your wording. Maybe use 'local' or 'homegrown' or something similar, that way people can pick up on the fact that it's someone from the local area, without being seen as rascist.

it truly is effective and it truly is been accomplished before! see you later because it would not come off as being racist, i imagine truly some human beings could savor your stance. in truth, between the massive banks (I forgot their call) is at the moment promotion the very undeniable truth that your calls will be replied contained in the united kingdom (as hostile to India)!
