Why is it when I take one of my cat’s outback and blow its head off to put it down its called animal abuse, but I can take it to the vet and have it "euthanasia" for like $40? My way is cheaper and faster.

Has anybody ever watched the vet do thier work, for all we know they just smacks it over its head with a bat until it dies.

The only reason people are saying you are evil, is because your way is, for lack of a better term, messy. A cute kitty is blown away, but it is dead fast, so no suffering. And a bullet is a hell of a lot cheaper. As long as it is done to end suffering, there really is no difference that going to the vet.

It's fast but not painless.
It's already been figured out that you feel extreme pain right before you die when your shot in the head or when you jump off a building. They tested on the guy that was suppose to get executed.
But when you put it to sleep at the vet, there's no pain.
Because first you inject something that relaxes them, then they inject the poison.

I have seen a vet put animals down and it is more humane than a gunshot. I would hope you are only trying to get a rise out of people.

It depends on your reason for doing it. Is it to alleviate suffering? Is the animal old or sick? And do you HAVE to "blow its head off"? We once put down a sick kitten by pressing on the esophagus. Much gentler.
If you do it for the thrill, it's abuse.

i guess in a certain light... if the vets lowered the price, i'd be taking cats there more of the time. ...where IS my neighbor's cat?

Good question, I guess the vets are in conspiracy with the animal rights organizations. It's all about the benjamins.

The humane way puts them to sleep before the injection stops there heart INSTANTLY...your way is a suffering painful death. They feel that pain until they die.....I'm appalled.
