In the orignal song they were singing about the infiltration of Liberalisim in the Brittish political system. How it was being divided into left and right sides, and the bull and lies involved in politics. It didn't matter who was in charge from either party, it was the same old same old either way.

In more recent times, the radical Liberal hack group MoveOn had some reference to it in one of the left wing rants. More waste of print and air time by the countries biggest freak show. Your best to run from them as fast as you can.
