It would be advantageous to have some business knowledge to run McDonald's but you need to come up with probably close to $1 million to buy one. Also you have to graduate from Hamburger University. Basically you learn about food safety, food operations and how to flip hamburgers.

I don't think you need a degree but understanding of the business... Most franchises will send you to their "university" or schooling for training and other things. Just make sure you can invest your time and energy with it... Good Luck
