Will a persons find employment in any other white collar job after he leaves the call centre?

Well I certainly found a great job, it gave me a great understanding of customer service/ customer centricity - now I manage helpdesk teams

I am sure that you can find alternative work after leaving a call centre. Working in a call centre gives you transferable skills such as good custormer service, good communication and negotiating skills, data entry skills with accurate typing.

i had a call centre job a few years back and it hasn't done me any harm. it does depend on the person and what type of work you are moving into.

i made sure i got involved in other areas of the job to build up my experience.

It's not a job that requires much academic skill, try phoning a call centre to see what I mean.
