I hope you understand what I am asking, it's kinda hrd to explain? Either it hangs over the roll and closest to you or exact opposite hanging closest to the wall. Please let me know if I even make sense! It is just a simple dispute I would like to solve. Thanxs

No, I understand. I want to start a council to make decisions on toilet paper and bathroom etiquette. For instance, if a roll of toilet paper touches the ground, it should be burned. But in regard to whether it should be hung over or under: as I answered in a similar question, when you consider the rich cultural history and impact on modern-day hygiene that this papyral splendor has had, to hang it under so that it looks sloppy and unnatural is just plain disrespectful and shows complete disregard for the sanctity of the toilet paper. ;)

Completely your own preference. When I was younger I always remember my grandmother making it hang under near the wall and it was often harder to grab at. Now I HAVE to have it away from the wall and hanging over the roll, just easier that way.

Everyone has their own preference, but I think it should hang over the roll closest to me. It seems dirty if it hangs against the wall.

I am a "hang over the top" kind of person. I hate going somewhere and finding the toilet paper coming from underneath. I will even change it at family and friends homes. LOLOL

It should definitely hang closest to me. I think it's a hassle when you have to dig behind the roll to find the beginning.
