The last gaming place I was ever to was Sandton back in the day when i still had acne and skew teeth. Thats where all the games were for me... I actually miss that and would like to find places that are a gamers dream in Johannesburg. Not little cafes that happen to have a "Tekken" machine.... And not the Rage expo that happens once a year... (though if something like that was around permanently.... sigh). Any help please?

Sadly, arcades are a thing of the past really. There are very few of them here in the States now too. I remember hanging out in arcades as a child and teenager as well. They were great, and its sad they have become virtually non-existent. They are the drive-in movie theaters for those of us that grew up in the 1980's. Like drive-in movies, arcades have suffered because of the prevalence and improvements in home theaters and gaming systems. There are still a few around here and there, but they are hard to find.

Awwww yes the Arcade the good ol days. Yes in America the arcade has all but vanished. You can still find some at the malls the smaller ones. On the rebound are places like Dave and Busters http://www.daveandbusters.com/Misc/ContactUs.aspx Game Works http://www.gameworks.com/ and Jillians http://www.jillians.com/ . Also Chuck E Cheese http://www.chuckecheese.com/main/index.php and Gatti's http://www.mrgattis.com/ are like the kid and pizza joints.

Love the Arcades collect the old ones myself. Just let Black Pudding go away and that would be okay with me, lol

You know, I have yet to walk through any good size shopping mall and not see an arcade. Check there.

Of course, that is in the states.
