Why is being outside in the early morning so much better than at any other time during the day? It's quiet and peaceful, sure; but there's something more to it than that, and I can't figure out what it is.

In a way sleep is like death to the body. And waking up in the morning is a new life. It feels special in the early morning because there is less noise. The dawn gives a feeling of dreamy clouds and cool breeze. Life looks so much better. Your tieredness is gone and you have gained sufficient energy to face the problems of the world.
As the day grows, you have more noise, more people invading into your life, slowly the reallity of the day hits you. If you are in a locked room where you could not feel dawn, you will not experience the morning peace. So the scene of dawn is a major factor.

It's a new day for fresh beginnings. I can hear the sounds of new life where I live.We have town chickens and they are always chirping and peeping. The morning fresh air is so inviting so if the weather is good I take my coffee on the front porch.Asyou probably guessed I am from the south...Georgia that is.It's a time for your mind and body to be still and quiet and soak everything in.Have a great day!

The start of life for all living things. The moment where birds are flying and singing. The moment where some people start their praying. The moment where leaves and trees release maximum oxygen and absorb carbon dioxide. The moment where angels started to come down to earth and spread their wings. It is stated in holy quran that the most precious moment that Allah will answer our request is the early morning...The summation of all these will result in peace and tranquility...

I agree. For me, the Early morning outside is where I go to meditate {mindfulness meditation, loving-kindness meditation, and insight meditation) to get the day off on the right start. It creates a Very Optimistic Attitude toward people and life as well. Thanks for your question, and have a Great Week/Wkend !

It's fresh and bright compared to when you're in bed asleep at night. I love the early morning too. =) I think it's also because you're body is still kind of waking up and you still feel rather serene from being asleep.

Good morning!

Yoiur body is hopefully more relaxed, and the pollens and such maybe are sticking to the flowers etc, becuse of the dew.
The air is cleaner, and that has a big effect.
At least on- ah, ah, achoo-

Probably the relief that the scary evening is over. I'm sure there were many times when our primate ancestors were glad to see the sun one more time.
