Goths are more preppyish and trendy now days than the preps. How often do you see preps walking around in groups of 10 or more, far less common than goths. Not to say that those are real goths, but the "posers" sure are polluting everything. They are worse than preps.

I'm not inclined to like preps, I like goths cause they seem to have a better sense of reality.
