i have to do a sculpture in art but im drawing a blank. any ideas? i was kind of think about doing some sort of animal.

A feeling.
Seriously. Something swoopy is a light, joyous feeling.
Something dark and solid and lumpy is staid and maybe sad.
Something wiry has lots of pep and energy,
and something dainty, well, that would be hard to do.

Humans are one of the most complex organisms. I just finished a piece depicting a man coming out of the floor, but it showed some of the more detailed portions, ie the brain.
A good way to come up with ideas, I have found, is to look at every day things really close up. Find the detail. Then abstract from there.

A friend of mine does something well-known from the Bible. If you know Bible stories well, there are many persons or animals or scenes you could depict, that people (who also know those stories) would instantly recognize: Samson breaking the walls, David, with his stones and slingshot, or killing a lion. My friend did a wonderful sculpture of the woman with the issue of blood, crawling on the ground, to come to ask for healing. God bless.

Try to draw a Human being with 2 action or Faces because human are the most beautiful and dangerous creation of this universe but it still depends on your thought :) take a deep breathe and concentrate. You will get answer deep from your heart.
One = Very innocent
two = Very Jealous. Angry etc

u need more imagination>>>
I suggest that u should not just copy a animal, do something crazy and make yr work be special.
e.g: a fish with legs.
a very very fat bear with a small head, too many fats.
animal + x + y + z = your great design

I suggest sculpting hands or feet - they are quite the challenge to do.
If you are going to do an animal, a sitting dog or cat would
be the easiest than standing on four legs.

Make a chair and positioned a huge blanket over it... then have somebody sit down in it and don't tell them its created from beer cans... then snicker while it comes crashing down. Rinse and repeat...
