They are hampered by the stupidity of those around them.
As soon as someone rises above the herd, the herd pulls them back down to their level.

Because life is unfair. Use this analogy: Sometimes you can spend ages working on giving an excellent answer to a question but someone else will get 'best answer'. Othertimes you don't, but you are given 'best answer'.
So many factors affect people's personal achievements. Problems with work, family, relationships etc. Often things happen which are beyond their control and limit the progress they could make in an ideal world.

No one really knows what equates to the "full potential." And many people still are trying to figure themselves out to see what gifts they actually have. Also, the endless cycle of work, bills, sleep, kids, groceries, etc. makes it nearly impossible sometimes to step back and focus on our gifts because the greatest gifts sometimes takes the longest to realize. People just don't have the time anymore.

What is "full potential" anyway? How do you measure and quantify it? How will you know when you have achieved it? This is just Blairite social propaganda designed to make him sound as though he knows what he is talking about. It is just another empty meaningless phrase like "empowerment"
My cynical sister says that "achieving ones full potential" is just shorthand for making truck loads of money.

Because you have to know exactly what you want to do in a specific matter and you must have the "balls" to do it!and if you know you`re right, just go and follow your heart and your judgement and don`t let others decide for you!!!trust me,I learned the hard way not to be influenced by others, these are not just words! You have to be strong and go for it until the end!
