Depends on your immigration status gringo,lol. Legally London is the same as anywhere but unscrupulous employers of illegals can get away with half or less of that.

The LONDON minimum wage is the same as the national wage minimums - the only difference is that some companies offer London Weighting Allowance - an incentive for those who live where the cost of living is higher.
My personal belief is that London Weighting would not apply to hourly wages but to Salaried positions only

As others have said, it is the same all over the country. Some larger companies give their employees London weighting of 10-15% to allow for the higher cost of living.

Its exactly the same as the rest of the UK. ~From October 2006 it rose to £5.35 per hour, from £5.05.
