so they can use less than average quality meats and large quantities of it..these chemicals preserve everything so that it can be stored, shipped and used in almost any amount of time they want. basically its an alternative to quality.

They use preservatives, flavourants and colourants in there meats and sauces, but these chemicals are Generally Recognised As Safe (GRAS), meaning it falls within safety specifications. Unfortunately it has only been proven for limited intake of the foods and not for longer periods,like years. It might cause cumulative effects on your health over years of consuming artificial chemicals. That is why there is such a need for the use of natural flavourants and preservatives.
My solution would be to rather eat a balanced diet with fresh meat, milk, eggs, veges and fruit. But If you buy McDonalds twice a month it would be fine.

Virtually everything in the fast food industry is full of added chemicals. Most are preservatives, as the food is being shipped cross-country, but also there are artificial flavorings and so forth.

they add chemicals to get taste and to add shelf life while in shipping product to store so you do not get sick that is if you can still eat it after all that

Its cheaper and makes it taste good. Also makes you addicted so you buy more.
