From what I've seen, there isn't one candidate out there that isn't tryining to exploit something. Yesterday, we were treated to Hillary trying to talk like an old black man; Billybob picking up some gratuitous award for being the first Black President; Obama stating he was coming home, to a place he'd never been before; Romney stating his one wife / 35 years thing and on, and on.
You're right. I'd vote for Alan Keyes in a heartbeat.

Obama had made plans to attend the rally and speak at the church service in July of last year, months before he decided to run for office. Hillary was the one who panicked because she saw the numbers slipping and had her hubby call in favors last week to get her there to speak.
He is paying homage to the people of the civil rights movement because if it were not for them, he would not have gotten the chances he had to get ahead, go to Harvard and be able to participate in the political process by being able to vote, hold political office etc.
Alan Keyes is not a true African American. He is an American who happens to be black. His African ancestry has been diluted for many generations and centuries unless someone can show me that his father or grandfather is from Africa. He does not get the support not because he is Republican, it is because he is a right wing nut job who is even more right of the right arm of the Republican party. He puts things out on his views which appear reasonable until you listen to him speak and realize that what he says is so far right of what he wrote, he is not taken seriously in his own party.
He wants to spit on the civil rights movement, the same movement that gave him the chance to do what he is doing. If it was not for the civil rights movement, he would still be considered half a man, and still not be able to vote if not for the Voting rights Act of 1965.

He is pandering to get the minority vote. It's chic just like all of the celebrities that are tracing their African roots. Yeah, it's amazing that they all belong to the same tribe of descendants.
Who believes politicians anyway? They promise action during the campaign, but once elected, they follow the crowd.

Why do neocons ask such stupid questions? Is it that they are truly so stupid? Or is it that they are so full of hate that they can't think rationally? Hypocrisy indeed.
Neocons are the modern day pharisees. If Jesus were to appear today they would swift boat him and crucify him all over again.
Neocons do absolutely nothing to espouse the teachings of Jesus Christ other than to say they do. Jesus was the ultimate liberal.

Why do misquitoes suck blood? Because they are misquitoes. A liberal is a liberal. They too are parasites.
