Im hearing alot about Dallas, Tampa Bay and even the Jets, but all i've heard from the Giants is who they've cut.
Shouldnt they be a little more aggressive?
Being down their top rusher of all time and having one of the worst defenses in the league?

Being that I'm a Giants fan too, I'm scratching my head as well...I think they are waiting to sign either Domenick Rhoades or Tatum Bell. They are waiting around to see who will be left after the wild spending spree of other NFL teams. They have several holes on D-fense to fix, but will wait to see who is available and possibly make a draft day trade for a lesser known DB who can prove to fit well in that new Defensive scheme they will run.

I don't think they should be trading for anything inparticular since you don't see much trading in the NFL. I would like to see them be a little more agressive in the free agent market. Since their secondary is week it might have been nice to see them go after Nate Clements, or even a linebacker after the whole Lavar Arrington disaster last year. If they do make a trade I would like to see them pursue Lance Briggs over in Chicago. I wouldn't worry about a running back because that is one position that you can get a servicable player very easily.

Yeah they do unless they have some linebackers that I dont know about they need to try to sign one or trade for one. They may want to give Brandon Jacobs a shot at being the everydown back before they bring in a speed guy. So that could explain why they havent made a move to get a RB yet.

You would think so, but last year they spent alot of money on free agents that tanked ( Arrington, Madison ) and I'm not sure what their cap situation is. The Jets got Thomas Jones last night for a pick .... he would've looked nice with Brandon Jacobs. I'm still scratching my head on why they brought back Coughlin.

i dont know why there r rumors about the giants trading for a running back brandon jacobs is a beast i think like 6-4 270 he might not be a burner but he has the quick feet that remind me of jerome bettis but im not saying he is aas good as bettis but the need to give him a shot to prove he is more than a short yardage runner

I think they're going after dom rhodes from the colts. Not sure what else, I mean they need LOTS of help in the defensive side..
I think they are waiting for the draft and whats left in the free agent market..

Hopefully they can pull briggs from the bears.

Yes they should. They need to bring in another RB to compete with Jacobs. They also need a lot of help at other spots.
