What is wrong with my iPod, why is it acting up?

Question

I was playing the iPod in my car when all of a sudden it shut off. I assumed it was because the battery was extremely low. However, I was still driving and I wanted to hear more tunes so I turned it back on and played it. By the time I got out the car and checked the battery line it was half full!! what is going on?

by the way, i play my iPod through a radio station so its really not connected to anything. just a small device that picks up the radio signal. Please help, I think my iPod is possessed.

an iPod is a computer
sometimes they freeze up
maybe you had put it on timer without realizing it.
it's no big deal
