Why? Did you do something really bad or add up a lot of lesser infractions perhaps? I would reword this and ask in Yahoo Products under Yahoo!Answers for the quickest reply. They will also provide a way for you to appeal their decision. Good luck.

I've had a Yahoo account for over ten years as well. I have quit using it hoping that it will be deleted. (It's apparently become a spam magnet. I don't have this problem with my Verizon Yahoo account.)

in the Yahoo " terms of agreement " or something or other like that, they have an " inactivity " clause......
it states that if your account is inactive for a year or more, they have the right to delete it.....

They did this to me, too. You probably asked something that they did not like. I asked here if it was possible for others to hack my fax. Next day I had no account.
I wrote to them but got no replies.
