ok so this is the third time with asking? but i have a little bit more information now.

my grandad gave me a coin in 1984 telling me it was as rare as only 5 made?? but im not sure if this is a true fact. it is a solid gold commerative medal commerating the opening of hamad town in bahrain.. it is in a sealed casing and has never been taken out so is in brand new condition. there is a very similar coin called a 10 diners and everyone is mistaking it for this coin, but this is not the same coin.

and i found this in a bahrain currency museum..
on the front of the coin it is a picture of H.H Shaikh Isa Bin Salman Al Khalifa, Late Amir of The State of Bahrain.
and on the back it has a picture of a crest of arms
with the writing hamad town on hte bottom.

it can be sold in 2 ways
1. As a gold wich they will not look at it historical Value in the gold places
2. As a Luxury old Peice which you can find your way with it either in the Musimus or the collectors my personal opinion to you is to try to sell it a Bahrain Prince or Buissnes man because they will be the most who will appriciate it

probably an obvious answer but why dont you try a coin expert, and try several phone them. maybe you could try one of the book auction houses if you think it is that valuable like southebys.

Let it be too old, little more. Like at the time of your grand children, they may get benefit of it.
