Teaching English will get you a MUCH better salary than working in a call center. You will want to get a work visa, which are easy to get in India, especially for a NATIVE English speaker, as they all need to know English to work in the call center. Remember, in India, the call center job is the cream of the crop job. Just remember that they work third shift over there, which is in-line with North America's working time.

I have travelled extensively, and have had alot of experience applying for work permits in other countries (in itself this is a very long process). Without specialist qualifications, you cannot expect to earn alot. At one stage my ex-partner was earning 30 times more than me. This kind of imbalance has a negative effect on the relationship which is why alot of expatriate married (or cohabiting)women do not work.
Perhaps, you could do some voluntary work and spend extra time focusing on your family. This is what I'm doing now.
Teaching English in India? Indian people already speak excellent English. This is what I found anyway.
