some tea in the office kitchen and left it, but now I'm feeling guilty. Should I go back and clean it up or leave it for someone else to do?

I've clean it up - some of you seem to have taken this very seriously. We are only a small company we don't have a cleaner. We take it in turns to push the hoover about and everything.

When you have finished your tea take your cup back to the kitchen , wash your cup up and then clean up any mess if no one noticed your slopping they will think that you are doing a good job.
I've worked for a small company as well No Problem.

Cant believe you said you left it!! I am a cleaner for 3 different firms and to be honest we are there to clean the building, NOT clean up after peoples lazy messing!! It infuriates me!! How long would it have taken for yo to wipe it over? 1 second!! Propably take someone else longer if it has dried up by the time it gets cleaned.
SORRY BONE IDLE!!!!

If you spill then wipe it clean,
don't leave it for others, as that's just mean.

Print this out and laminate it, then put it up in the kitchen for all to see, that way no one will be cleaning up after anyone in future.

In the time it took you to ask this question you could have cleaned it up. NEVER leave your crap for someone else to clean up, I mean what's the difference, do you have someone follow you into the can to wipe your bum. Go DO IT!!!!!!!

If you are feeling gulty, you should go back and clean it up. It is not fair that somebody else should clear up your mess. Would you do this at home and get away with it?

Just leave it. The company pays cleaners for a reason, you know...!

Go find someone and ask them to do it for you, I don't think it's your job to clean, unless it is.

They hire people for that. I say leave it. You wouldn't want someone to be out of a job because of you, would you?
