lol when my son was a baby, in the summer i would just put him in a t-shirt and diaper unless we were going somewhere. i bought him a lot of his t-shirts at secondhand stores so they were like 50 cents apiece. saved a lot of money and laundry!

That is not weird at all and I am going through the phone book right now to check on those potato sacks. You must have many children.

I sort of agree with you, but the potato sack tends to be pretty rough. It might hurt the babies skin. What about a cotton sack with holes for the head, arms and legs.

Potato sacks are kind of scratchy,,,,,but I agree about keeping their clothes to a minimum.....The price of baby clothes is ridiculous!!!! Some are more than for myself,,,and mine are 10 times the size!!!

When my girls were tiny, unless we were going somewhere where I wanted them to look especially cute, I'd just put them in foote slippers or onesies from Wal-Mart.
You can get a pack with six in them for like 10 bucks and I'd always buy them a size bigger than I needed and they'd swim in them for a while before they fit right, but at least I wasn't having to buy clothes every week.
