I bought this dresser last year, it's good quality, solid wood. For the last couple of months, some of the drawers are extremely hard to open. They are on the tracks and the stops that keep the drawers from falling all the way out are not in the way. Any suggestions would be appreciated.

s Hard to tell without seeing it. anywhere the wood on the dresser is dragging, take a bar of dry soap and rub on the surface, it acts like a lubricant and will olve the problem if the wood dragging is the cause of the problem.

Take a bar of soap and rub where the drawer meets the track. That should lubricate it enough to slide easier.

If you can jimmy them open with a screw driver (thats what i used to pop open mine, but, i have old crappy dressers) than you would want to spray a little WD 40 on the track and brackets, that should losen it up, but than again, it will also make that room stink for a day.

It's probably expending due to moisture which might be from various sources. Try heat! Dry out the wood and they will slide like new!
