Not in most of them, but I have seen wine sold in a few theaters in Manhattan.

There is a theater in Massachusetts that does. Can't remember what town, I believe it might be Framingham. The trick is no one under 21 can enter that portion of the theater. You are carded upon entry. They select a certain movie to play for about a week and serve alcohol, as well as food while you're watching the film. Awesome setup.

The "Premier" screens at the Muvico Theater chain (mostly in Florida, but expanding to other states as far as NJ) has a full bar. Tickets are pricier than for a regular movie, but you don't have to deal with unruly children and popcorn is included in the price I think...

I was so amazed that beer was sold in a movie theatre in Charleston, South Carolina that I got a Large and went out in the middle of a good movie to refill.

It's sold at a few places, but we have a theatre in my town that sales wine and champagne. It's more of an artsy movie theatre though.

Yes and in laundry mats too. They are speacialized though. I know a great place in Va Beach Va with tabels and sell food, a reasterant with a big screen. It does depend on local and state laws but they are out there. In Virginia they have lundry mats with bars and Bars with wahing machines and dryers.

I think the travel channel had a special on this one. Bremerton WA had a family owned theatre that sold the better food than just candy and pop.
Check out that website Travel Channel. Google it yourself.

At one of the theatres around Norfolk, VA sells alcohol in the theatre. It's called cinema cafe, it's like resturant, you get served like an actual meal while watching your movie.

I don't believe so. Certainly not in California! Now that i've been living in Switzerland, I think it's quite cool to sip on a beer while you watch a movie...
