I try not to go out when it's stormy, but when I do I cannot hold my head up high as it is too damn windy and the rain lashes to face and makes the skin sting. And when it's stormy I never worry about the dark only that beacon of light peeping through the window at the end of my road...a comforting sight.
Walking along the beach when it is stormy is amazing and so invigorating.
PS Though If I avoided going out in the storm I would never go out as it is nearly always stormy here on the North East Coast of Scotland. I just have to remember not to take my brollie otherwise I will feel like Mary Poppins and start singing a 'Spoon Full of Sugar' and not 'Walk On Through The Storm'
