Didn't like Blackadder (1) but thought 2 and 3 were brilliant!

I loved Series 2 and 4.

Series 2 was funny because all of the characters were over the top.

The writing for series 4 was excellent. It's comedy underlined the seriousness of the 1st world war and how stupid it all was.

Best ending for a series ever - most poignant.

The 'Edmund, who's Queen?' series. Miranda Richardson was the only actress for that role and Stephen Fry is a legend, I also love Lord Flash-heart ( Rick Mayle). Why can't we have something as funny to watch anymore??

The last series, when they go over the top and the poppies bloom, unexpected serious ending, showed a lot of respect.
