Republicans: Could a Hillary presidency end up benefitting GOP in the long run?

As a Reagan conservative, I am not thrilled at what we have on the table so far for 2008. Should we accept a Clinton presidency, bide our time as hostages to higher taxes, then hope for something better in 2012? I'd hate to have this happen to America, but do we need a little hiccup to show people what Hillary and her brand of socialism are all about? Just a thought...don't take it TOO seriously.

4 years of Hillary there would be such a flush of liberals and democrats out of Congress.

Look what happen the last time a Clinton was in the White House.
GOP majority and 8 years of GOP in the White House.

That's what we are doing with Pelosi and co. Biding time. No, I'd rather we insist on a real candidate like we did on the Myers nomination.

Speaking of the supreme court, we can not afford to let a liberal president pack the courts with a bunch of ACLU cronies.

specific she has a raffle, yet presidential politics is often very difficult to foretell 2 years out. the great unknown is how she is actual perceived by potential of a nationwide objective audience. She's very stiff and contrived and that i think of it somewhat is glaring to a lot of people. She's very unnatural. there is the experience continuously that each and every little thing is planned.

No the "I told you so" route isn't the one to take. We need to keep the right in the White House, so the country won't crumble any further by putting another Clinton in the White House.
