i have to do an essay for business studies in college about businesses which effect the environment but i cannot think of a business unique from everyone else in my class to write about does anyone have any ideas? x

They all do - there is no business that does not use Electrical Power, transport for goods/workers or buildings (heating/cooling).

how about talking to local businesses and use the one which has reduced it's effect on the environment the most. this company will be aware of their effect on the environment and so will have done a lot of your research for you and they are local so you can speak to somone face to face. Try to think of companies that produce a lot of waste such as shops which have packaging to dipose of and businesses which have to dispose of harmful substances such as dry cleaners.
