Helping others is my job so yes it does make me feel good. And sure...the paycheque helps so guess if you want to call me selfish...then ok...if you feel better about it. Have a nice day! :D I'm going to go and selfishly help some people today and make some money. :) *sigh*

Haha, you bring up a good point. I heard once that people pleasers are the most selfish b/c they are only doing it to feel good, to be accepted, to win friend, etc etc. in the end it is only for a personal gain. Oh the irony! :)

Well I'm not going to do something that makes me feel bad inside. It would be nice if everyone could realize that helping other people makes you feel better than harming them.

i have been screwed so many times that i pretty much know it will happen again
i help others because i want to being nice is just the way i grew up
treat others the way you want to be treated
i do have ppl around me who treat me the same way i treat them and it makes up for the ppl who treat me badly

:) Not always... At times I help people when they DON'T want to be helped... so they then get mad at me(for poking my nose where it don't belong) and that doesn't feel very good.
