I just found out that i'm 3-5 weeks pregnant. but my question is, is it normal for your upper stomach to hurt? (under your rib cage?) and is it normal for your chest to almost double it's size in only a small period of time, and so early? thanks for all your help! every answer helps a little!

Oh yes!! I remember having uncomfortable stomach pains with both my pregnancies at the very beginning. As the first answerer said, it is your organs re-arranging themselves ready to make room for baby as s/he grows! You may also get acid heartburn at the top of your stomach/throat.

With my firt pregnancy, my chest doubled in size yes - and the rest!!! All in the first trimester, too. With my second, though, I am only slightly bigger than I was. It all depends on each person and each pregnancy.

Congratulations and good luck!!

I don't remember getting either those until later pregnancy when the baby was big and pressing up into my Rib cage. If your worried about anything to do with your health you should seek advice from a doctor. Congratulations on the pregnancy!

Yes, both symptoms are perfectly normal. Your organs are already rearranging themselves to make room for the baby and your hormones are roaring ahead at full steam, which results in your engorged bazongas.
