Importing a Word Document to Publisher to make a booklet?

Does anyone know how to do this? I have tried but I have hit multiple problems such as numbering being wrong, not being in book format! All help will be greatly appreciated

I got this directly from the Help feature in Publisher:

On the File menu, click New.

In the New Publication task pane, under Start from a design, select By Publication Type.

In the New Publication task pane, click Word Documents.

Under Word Documents, select the design you want.

In the Import Word Document dialog, click the Word document you want, and then click OK.

Do one of the following:
If you want to add personal information in Publisher now, click OK.

If you do not want to add personal information to your publication, click Cancel.

Use the options in the Word Import Options task pane to format your publication.

It works, I just tried it!
