It is an attitude, and one that runs deep. For some people practice is important, some not. The reason is that it is what goes on in your mind and your emotions which determine what you attract. I have had this question asked me many years ago, more than 20, and found the answer in 1998.
Someone lent me a cassette and then a book by Jerry and Esther Hicks. I was impressed by them but as LUCK? would have it, they were less than one week away from giving a workshop on The Science of Deliberate Creation in the very closest major city from where I was living. They can be found online at abraham-hicksdotcom. Just look them up, it will allow me to go for lunch. You can get to me online if you have more questions.

Luck isn't just about winning the lottery. Luck isn't about chance.
All you have to do is believe that you are lucky, and have a belief system that allows you to be lucky everyday.
Everyone has some ritual designed to increase luck and bring good fortune. My daughter always wore her lucky socks to play soccer. When i play backgammon I often call on the “Perfidious Luck Fairy”. Sometimes my dice turn, sometimes they don’t. He is a fickle critter. The truth is that you create your own luck!
There was a 10-year case study of 400+ people from teens to eighties, hoping to discover why some people are luckier than others. They concluded that we all create our own luck based on how we think and sees thing.
In other words, change the way you think and how you look at life and you will begin to create your own good luck and good fortune.
Lucky people are lucky because they seize opportunities; they create positive self-fulfilling prophecies and have a resilient attitude that allows them to turn bad luck into good luck by focusing on what went right, and how things could have been much worse. This way they are thankful for what happened and learned from the positive side of the situation. Everything has a lesson contained within it. Find the lesson, learn from it, and move on.
If you're not doing any of the above then you may find that you have more "bad" luck than good luck.
You can begin to change your luck by training your mind to be more positive, more optimistic, finding opportunities and knowing that you can have good fortune.
You need to have an open mind. Take a closer look at opportunities. Don't dismiss those things that seem coincidental. If you want to earn more money and a friend suggests a potential investment, explore it; don't just dismiss it outright.
Lucky people have more opportunities than those who are unlucky. I read about a man was trying to understand luck. As an experiment, he gave those who were lucky and those who were unlucky the same newspaper and asked them to tell him how many pictures were in the paper. The lucky people spent only a few seconds while unlucky people spent a few minutes.
On the second page of the newspaper was a note in big type saying: "Stop counting. There are 43 photographs in the newspaper. Tell the experimenter you have seen this and win $250". Lucky people saw it and the unlucky people missed it.
Unlucky people miss chance opportunities because they are too busy looking for something else and are not open to possibilities. They feel they have to do things a certain way. Lucky people examine what is in front of them instead of just focusing on what they are looking for. This leaves them more open minded to possibilities. Happens on CSI all the time!
Lucky people change their approach and rroutines. They were not afraid to try something new and be open yet again to new possibilities. Luck means being open to possibilities, different approaches, doing things differently once in awhile.
When you regularly do this you get your mind and subconscious mind to focus on finding new ways to do things. That's when luck begins to come your way. It's all because your subconscious mind begins to create the situations for you to succeed. But this will only happen when you believe you can have good luck and when you believe that you can succeed. Believe that you can have what you want and good things will arrive.
Regarding luck another thing is very important. This is how you see things and how you deal with setbacks or misfortunes. Misfortune is the times when things didn't turn out as you had hoped. I read somewhere that athletes who won bronze medals were often happier than those who won silver because those who won bronze medals realized that if they had been a fraction of a second worse they would not have received any medal. However, those who won silver medals thought that if they had been a fraction of a second better they would have won the gold!
Lucky people turn misfortune in their favor. These are the people who say "It could have been worse!" Unlucky people say "It's just my bad luck again."
This is the old cup is half full or half empty routine. Change the way you see things. Consider yourself lucky. Train the mind and subconscious mind to believe that you are lucky. Eventually, you'll attract more positive and lucky events into your life.
Try to do things differently. Change the way you did things and how you see them by focusing on the good rather than the fortune, and became more open minded. This will definitely make you happier with your life. The more you are open too, the more you will "luck out". In other words make better luck.
Some people cannot break the habit. When the mind and subconscious mind are stuck they cannot change it with the snap of their fingers. It is not that easy. Go for it one slow bit at a time and change your focus.
One exercise a luck person, whose ring I still wear today, taught me was to daily think of 20 things in my life to be grateful for. I thought, “OMG how can I do this? I am sick; I am poor, etc etc!” But, when I thought of all the little things we take for granted, suddenly there was a whole pile of things to be grateful for! Within a week the list was pretty long. He taught me how to take a lesson from the worst of circumstances.
Give it a try! Oh, and god luck with that!

Luck is a superstition. It is held by gamblers, and losers as a charm for the lives they live. It is a deceptive concept that has been with us since the first men and women who found chance on their side. Luck is an illusion perpetrated by the new age knaves looking for your valuables.
As one great Canadian said " I'm a firm believer in luck, and I find that the harder I work the more I have." Stephen Leacock.

The first thing that you need to do is stop believing that luck exists.
I just read a study about this and it said that so-called lucky people were tested and found to have much higher observational skills than average people.
It seems to be more about paying attention than luck.

Hmm.... Why don't you find a good luck charm? It works for me, but only wear it when you ABSOLUTELY need luck. Don't wear it for every occassion or it will be worthless. Perhaps a necklace, bacelet, watch, broach, coin?? Any trinket that has some value to your every day aspects of live will work. As long as it is meaningful to you in some way, it will be lucky.

It is just luck. Positive and optimistic people are usually more lucky than pessimists. Luck is also the partner of daring and crazy people. Although there is not a state rule about luck. It just happens!

I believe the simple act of believing that you are unlucky predisposes you to poor luck. If you can truly convince yourself that your luck HAS changed for the better, I suspect it will. First of all, there is an element of interpretation in luck. Here's an example: one man who lives in a shack and has nothing may consider himself lucky simply because he is in good health. Another man who is very wealthy may consider himself unlucky because he is caught in traffic and late for a golf game. See what I mean? Look for ways that you are lucky, and you'll see them everywhere. And the reverse is true, of course.
Furthermore, I suspect that a person that has grown accustomed to thinking of themselves as unlucky will actually subconsciously seek out 'poor luck', so they can then say "see, I always have poor luck", which is what they are comfortable feeling. So tell yourself everyday that your luck is going to be better, and look for ways to prove it, rather than the reverse.

positioned on your prominent pair of socks and t-blouse on the same time as having a 4-leafed clover, a ladybug, and your troll doll with you and don't overlook to do your tribal dance and that should do it. Love, honey
