Top grossing: Samuel L. Jackson: $3,793,254,710 although I don't believe he's won an Oscar.
Tom Hanks, ranked number 3 at $3,093,654,701 is probably the most bankable with talent having won 2 Oscars...

It is Samuel L Jackson. It has previously been Harrison Ford, due to the strength of the Star Wars movies and Indiana Jones. Jackson, while not in as big of blockbusters, has done more overall films I believe. The movie that put him into the first place position was actually his voice acting in The Incredibles.
