yep i agree,i cant stand that word either lol 'basically' drives me mad too and 'at the end of the day' they seem to be a bit over used these days.

i have to disagree with Emma W, the word morish actually doesnt exist. But answering your question, theres no word that annoys me, just the shortening of words as in text like m8, and c u l8r, aload of bunkum

Ooops sorry I always use the word morish. Not sure where it came from. The words that annoy me the most are 'Basically' and 'init'. Alsowhen people send comments on myspace that say 'sup? Jus stopin by to show sum luv and dat. Holla bak at me'!!!!!!! Soooo annoying!!!

Its not a new word, but I cant stand it when people answer a question with 'absolutely', eg
Q: Do you think its going to be sunny today?
A: Oh, absolutely!
Q: Is the Pope a Catholic?
A: Absolutley!
I also hate it when people say 'he/she's not a happy bunny'

It's not really a new word...it is the new way people are answering...or writing...they are trying REAL hard to talk what they are considering "gansta" &/or slang.....I just don't get it...sometimes it is harder to read then it is to write it...
wut wood it take to haf gud 3nglish?
Something to that effect....I understand abbreviating, but c'mon..this is like a whole other language....
