To be awake and aware but unable to move, and being slowly eaten by rodents, or insects.
They used to bury people standing up with just their heads left above ground. Then they would pour honey over their heads and leave them for the ants to feast on.
I always thought this sounded like the worst possible way to go.

Well I would think of what is the best way to Live this moment. I am wondering why would someone like to traumatize oneself by exploring the worst way to die. No matter how extreme a reason, live is most precious of all and you never know how much your mere presence may be of value to some one. So stop thinking of death, and start living dude! What ever the situation, I am sure it is there only for you to win over. All the best - cheers!

there are as many different ways to die as there are dead people, and everyone has an idea of what would be the worst way to go, therefore, this is a subjective question and no correct answer can be found that everyone could agree on. me, the worst way to go would be to die with the realization that you led an unfulfilled life.

I think any kind of death that involves pain would definitely by AWFUL, but, being the emotional girl that i am, i think the worst thing for me is to die w/out saying goodbye to my family and friends.

Being boiled alive, and then with your last conscious moments looking across the kitchen to realise that you're going to be served with a 2006 Semillon...or even worse...orange juice...

Fire ants eating your flesh, for seven days and nights.
My friend (31 yr. old) is in the hospital on a ventilator, after drowning in a fridgid lake yesterday. Just tragic.

falling from a plane would probably be a really bad way to go, you would have a drop of several thousand feet, then smack into the floor at an incredibly high speed
