Why is it constantly getting great reviews? I honestly think out of all the supermarkets that sell clothing, the George range is the worst quality and style. Any comments?

THANYOU! Finally someone who agrees with me- maybe one acceptable thing comes along with 20 nasty and cheap types.

The only reason they look passable is the bulldog clips they use to make an illfitting out fit -almost- fit.

As many said above, I love the George range. But it does aim at a specific style, and the clothing isn't very good quality, but for the price, this is to be expected. Again, as was said above, the sizing is completly (!) wrong. I am a size 10, but had to get a size 6 top!

I find the George range is good for work clothes (i work in a construction site office) - at the end of the day i wont pay over the odds for clothes for work and their prices are just fine - and if the clothes dont last forever then it isnt an issue at those prices i can replace them when i want to or i need to.

At the end of the day you get what you pay for - pay cheap you get cheap quality, pay dear and you get a better quality

I like the clothing at Asda but the sizing is strange and doesn't fit me. I'm an 8 an not many of their items come in that size. Good value for money when you consider how little you pay for it.

I have had the odd bit of clothing from George but I find the fit is never that good, I do buy their shoes and slippers though they are really good value for money. I find Tesco's clothes a bit pooh

George started off really good, but the quality over the past year or so has really gone done.

But the kids ranges are fantastic value as they grow out of them really quickly.

Actually I like the George range. I guess it just depends on what sort of stuff you are looking for. My favourite has to be Sainsbury's Tu range, the clothes are beautiful and wash really well.

I recently bought a suit from George for £19 & it is the best looking & fitting suit I have ever bought I think they are great for people with a small budget.

I really don't like George clothes. They are cheaply made and it shows and nothing fits or hangs nicely. Baby/toddler clothes are better made than adults clothes. And I doubt very much Colleen and Wayne really wear their clothes.

I agree with J about the bull dog clips take them off and the clothes look gross.

However, I do buy selected clothes as I am trying to lose weight and refuse to buy anything decent until I reach my target weight...that's my excuse anyway.
