It sounds like the map you are using is bugged. I think if I remember correctly you can build your own maps in that game. Try a different map. Also download the latest patch for the game.

you are able to play it. it's going to play easily :D My laptop a million,8GB 512MB 128MB VGA can play it on the two XP and ninety 8 and ME (I put in all of it on my laptop). Im no longer attempt to play it on Vista, yet. So i assume this is going to be wonderful inclusive of your laptop. different than in case you have vista. here the minimum device standards for RA2: homestead windows ninety 5/ninety 8/2000/NT, 266 MHz Pentium II Processor, sixty 4 MB RAM (450 MHz processor and 128 MB RAM mandatory for 3-8 participant multiplayer activity), 4x CD-ROM, 2 MB video card, DirectSound-properly matched soundcard

Ahh, you need to train them with the equipment. They're probably pulling the pins on the grenades and staring at them - or you may have some extremist spies workin' against ya, and planting demo charges all over you.

This did happen to me a few times. Try uninstalling and then reinstalling the game
