Well, the Japanese did invent one in 1944, it helped them gain a lot of territory. Then, under Japanese occupation, the American resistance group Canno stole a time machine, went back to 42, and killed it's inventor.

There are Canno operators everywhere, making sure no time machine ever gets reinvented. But perhaps they'll miss a spot someday, who knows.

Yes, i do believe a time machine can be invented....and is very possible....how though im not sure, im not a scientic great here....but it would be very dangerous, and very life altering across the board for every species of life if we chose to make one.....if we haven't already....

it could be mankinds major solver for the problems we have now, or the end to us and everything we know...depending on whos hands its in....

but i think einstein created the building blocks for it....if i was asked my opinion.....
E=mc2.....Energy = Mass x the speed of light *squared*

when objects pass the barrior of the speed of light, it defys time. now if it was ohh an apple for instance, and you decided to pitch it at the speed of light squared....it would in essance turn into pure energy....loosing its melicular structure though....but if we found a way to control that and define where it goes....then we got ourselves a little time machine.....in my theroy...

but, all in all, its still a myth....

but they said cloaking could never be done...and we started tinkering around with that...and making leaps and bounds...

and they also said it would be impossible to go to the moon...well, we have space craft right now already past the orbit of our solor system....so who knows.....

Personally i dont think so because time is something that could have already happend so you cant go back to that. A machine is something that does something but its not magical.

do you realize you just asked a question that people have been tring to answer for thousands of years and the answers always the same every time "no one know for sure". there is no way to tell if it is until someone does travel through time.

if you believe in Einstein, time machines cannot be invented.
but if you believe in "nothing is impossible" then it will be invented

I think a basic one has already been made. Not like you think though. It transports ions.
