Well, the full saying is "You can catch more flies with honey than vinegar," but I'd rather have flies with honey than vinegar. No sense being swarmed by flies and having to smell vinegar when you could be swarmed by flies and smelling honey. Guess it's the lesser of two evils...but then again, maybe they could change the saying to "You can catch more flies with hot chicks than honey," cause that'd be cool...except you'd still get the flies...dang, that's a tough one.

A "sweet" disposition is certainly more amenable to people than a "sour" one. People who exhibit a positive attitude usually get promoted; those with a negative attitude usually stay in low-level positions or get fired.
